Papigo Towers Ioannina

In the most picturesque and popular village of Zagori, Mikro Papigo, at the entrance of the traditional settlement, we created the Papigo Towers Mountain Lodge. Its name is due to the imposing Towers of Papigo, the five vertical rocks of about 700 meters each, in the embrace of which the lodge is located. It consists of two buildings, one of which dates back to the early 19th century and is a living monument to the traditional architecture of Zagorohoria and, more generally, to Epirus during the Middle Ages. Its renovation was completed in 2007, after a great effort and dedication of the owners. Together with the second building, which was based on wood and stone, constitute a particularly majestic residential complex in the Pindos. Built like floating on the rock, the hotel consists of 10 rooms, each of which is characterized by a feast of colors with wooden floors and beds made of iron or dark wood. Each room is characterized by a different color, the turquoise of communication, the pink of innocence, the dreamer blue, the mysterious purple, the burgundy mansion, the green of hope, the gold of luxury and the passion red. The decoration was based on the modernized Vintage rhythm, harmonized with the traditional architecture of Zagori.
